Hi there, I’m Emily, Owner & Consultant behind Flora Street Strategies.

Before consulting for small businesses in Philadelphia, I spent nearly a decade working with International Students at Philadelphia’s universities. Helping students from diverse cultural backgrounds navigate American culture and university life for the first time sparked a passion for providing warm and genuine hospitality.

One M.S. in Hospitality Management and two wine certifications later, and I found myself as the Operations Manager at a busy urban winery. There, I honed my skills running a growing operation, refining my grant strategy, and building administrative, operational, and HR processes.

I built Flora Street Strategies because I love small business. After meeting so many passionate owner/operators through collaborations and partnerships, I knew I could never go back to large institutions. Now, I’m helping to fill in the gaps for businesses that are on the verge of explosive growth.
